Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) - Night Shift
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) for a night shift position. This role involves providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, utilizing your nursing expertise and critical thinking skills.
Responsibilities
  • Utilize the nursing process and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members in caring for patients.
  • Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques and state laws.
  • Document according to standards of care and perform comprehensive patient assessments.
  • Develop, initiate, and execute individualized patient plans of care in collaboration with physicians.
  • Participate in department performance improvement activities and engage in shared governance.
  • Provide clinical expertise and guidance to support patients' longitudinal plans of care.
  • Make informed decisions regarding patient safety and escalate issues appropriately.
  • Participate in unit practice activities and peer review processes.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
  • Valid Wisconsin RN Licensure.
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS certifications.
  • TNCC or TNS certification is required.
  • Previous emergency room nursing experience is preferred.
Schedule
This position operates on a night shift schedule with rotating weekends.
