Job description

This is a Part-Time position (40 hours per pay period) with an 8-hour day shift schedule located at our Scripps Clinic in Rancho Bernardo. The shifts will be Monday 7am - 4pm, Thursday 7am - 11am, and Friday 7am - 4pm.

As a Licensed Vocational Nurse, you will:

  • Perform patient assessments and care tasks, including emergency procedures and medication administration as appropriate.
  • Educate patients and families and document patient interactions.
  • Practice infection control and contribute to the team as necessary to ensure quality patient care within own scope of practice.

Required Qualifications:

  • Current California LVN license
  • American Heart Association BLS for Health Care Provider
  • Must be able to speak, read, write, and follow instructions in English.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • One year of outpatient experience as LVN or LPN
  • Experience in an outpatient setting
