As a Patient Care Extender at St. Cloud Hospital, you’ll find your purpose by bringing comfort and healing to our patients. You’ll work with a team of amazing healthcare professionals every day. You’ll join them to listen, then serve, guide, and heal.

As a Patient Care Extender in the ETC, you’ll help patients by cleaning and dressing wounds, starting splints, performing blood draws, teaching them to walk with crutches, among other things. Our ETC has 38 private patient rooms, is a designated Level II Trauma Center and has a helipad and ambulance garage. We receive 60,000 visits per year and are the premier Trauma Center in Central Minnesota. You’ll get to work with amazing doctors and nurses who will help you learn and advance your career. Schedule:

  • Full-time | 64 hours every two weeks | Onsite 
  • 8hr shifts | Night shift | 11:00pm-7:30am 
  • Every other weekend (includes F-Sun) |rotating holidays

 Pay and Benefits:

  • Starting pay begins at $19.91 per hour and increases with experience
    • Pay range:  $19.91 - $30.47 per hour

 Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • EMT-Basic or Nursing Assistant preferred
  • One year of ED experience preferred
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card required, can be obtained once hired.
