Job description

We are seeking mulitple Labor & Delivery RN's for full time nights for a top hospital in the Houston area. This role has a generous salary range of $89,000.00 - $130,000.00 and a partial Relocation Package for nurses willing to move to the area.What do we need from you?

Must have an active RN Texas License, or active multi-state compact RN license, clear of stipulations or disciplinary actions.

Must have BSN Minimum 2-3 years experience in an acute care setting that is Labor and Delivery (No ADN, new grads will not be considered)

Must have at least 2 years of Acute care RN experience

Must have an updated resume - job history dates and units worked in must be accurate

Full Time Night Shift Availability Required – Candidates must be available to work full time night shifts exclusively. Please note that no day shift positions, transfers, or promotional or Part time opportunities are currently available. Only applicants seeking night shift roles will be considered.

What will you be doing?

Delivering safe and appropriate care to patients, according to the nursing skills inventory and the age and needs of the patient/population served.Coordinating the planning for the delivery of nursing care with an interdisciplinary team and administers appropriate clinical decisions in the delivery of patient care. Collaborating with, directing, and may delegate to the healthcare team in the attainment of positive outcomes based on data, research, evidence, and professional standards of care. Coordinating treatment plans; develops/implements discharge and/or transfer plans. We want you to promotes individual professional growth and development by meeting requirements for mandatory/continuing education and skills competency; supports department-based goals which contribute to the success of the organization; serves as preceptor, mentor and resource to less experienced staff.
