Job description

Critical Care Nurse / Pre-Hospital Registered Nurse

The critical care nurse / pre-hospital registered nurse is responsible for the delivery of the highest level of quality of care and customer service to all patients transported via ambulance within the scope of practice published by the Bureau of EMS. The Critical Care Nurse must demonstrate advanced critical care skills and problem-solving techniques in compliance with the Pennsylvania PA State EMS protocols, medical command direction, and company policies and procedures and serve as a clinical resource for all field and communications personnel.

Requirements

Minimum requirements:

ยท One year of pre-hospital or inter-facility transport experience

ยท Current driver's license

ยท Current PA PHRN certification

ยท Current CPR for the Healthcare Professional

ยท Current ACLS provider

ยท Current PALS provider

ยท Current PA DOH EMSVO endorsement

ยท Critical Care Endorsement (required)
