Job description

Registered Nurse – Medical/Surgical (MS RN)

Location: Atlanta, GA

Duration - 13 Weeks
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse (MS RN) to provide high-quality nursing care in an acute-care hospital setting. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of recent Medical/Surgical nursing experience and be comfortable working night shifts.

Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to Medical/Surgical patients.
  • Perform patient assessments and monitor changes in patient condition.
  • Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
  • Develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Monitor vital signs, laboratory results, and other clinical indicators.
  • Collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
  • Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.
  • Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and care.
  • Respond appropriately to emergencies and changes in patient status.
  • Follow hospital policies, safety standards, and infection-control procedures.
Required Qualifications
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license appropriate for the work location.
  • Minimum 2 years of recent Medical/Surgical RN experience.
  • BLS certification required.
  • NIH certification required.
  • Strong clinical assessment, communication, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be flexible with scheduling and patient assignments.
Preferred Qualifications
  • ACLS certification preferred.
  • Previous acute-care hospital experience preferred.
