Job description

Harrison County Hospital is hiring a Certified Medical Lab Tech (MT/MLT) Part-time for onsite evening/night coverage in Corydon, IN (24-31 hours/week). This role supports accurate, timely laboratory information for diagnosis, treatment, and patient monitoring.
Key responsibilities include specimen collection and processing; performing laboratory tests and reporting results; and completing essential lab operations such as inventory management and supply ordering, quality control and proficiency testing, competency support, procedure development, and performance improvement activities.
Required qualifications/skills:
- AMT or ASCP certification as a Medical Laboratory Technologist
- Qualified as CLIA'88 General Supervisor/testing personnel
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in laboratory science or medical laboratory technology
- 1-3 years of clinical hospital experience preferred
- Completion of annual PPD testing and annual fire/safety training
- Adherence to the hospital Corporate Compliance Plan
