The Role and Impact
As a Manufacturing Technician, you will play an essential role in Intel's Assembly and Test Manufacturing, directly contributing to the production of innovative semiconductor products. Your hands-on expertise with advanced manufacturing equipment and processes will ensure high-quality output, optimize production efficiency, and help drive Intel's leadership in the global technology market. By collaborating closely with a cross-functional team, you will have the opportunity to influence and improve processes that define the future of semiconductor manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities

  • Perform tasks associated with wafer production, including equipment setup, operation, and maintenance.

  • Conduct preventative maintenance, repair, and calibration of manufacturing tools to ensure consistent production performance.

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and software issues with manufacturing equipment.

  • Collect, analyze, and interpret operational data to ensure process optimization and efficiency.

  • Conduct quality control checks on raw materials and finished products, maintaining compliance with established standards.

  • Read and interpret schematics, diagrams, and technical documentation to guide repairs and upgrades.

  • Collaborate with engineers to support the installation, qualification, and enhancement of manufacturing systems and processes.

  • Log and maintain accurate production and equipment data, adhering to company protocols and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

  • Provide detailed pass-downs to the next shift to ensure smooth continuity of operations.

  • Operate effectively in a cleanroom environment, adhering strictly to safety and cleanliness protocols.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent with 1+ years of relevant technical experience OR Associate of Science degree in a STEM-related field (no prior experience required).

  • Proficiency in using basic hand tools and equipment for equipment maintenance and repair.

  • Familiarity with cleanroom environments and the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

  • Technical aptitude demonstrated through work experience, certifications, or formal education in troubleshooting and maintenance.

  • Ability to work Shift 6 schedule: (nights backend) 7 PM - 7 AM Wed-Fri and alternating Saturday night


Preferred Qualifications

  • 6+ months of experience working with Die Prep/Wafer Assembly toolsets and related software.

  • Knowledge of electromechanical systems, including robotic drives, actuators, and microcontrollers.

  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and electrical schematics.

  • Experience with end-user computer applications, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
