• Perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound exams following established protocols and physician orders
• Demonstrate expert understanding of sonographic anatomy and pathology

• Ensure patient identification, comfort, and communication at every stage of the exam
• Maintain imaging equipment and report any performance or safety concerns promptly
• Participate in ongoing quality assurance and professional education initiatives

Education

• Graduate of a CAAHEP-accredited School of Diagnostic Medical Sonography or equivalent allied health program with formal ultrasound training

Licensure/Certification

• Current ARDMS certification (Abdomen required within 6 months; Vascular and OB/GYN within 18 months)
• BLS certification required (American Heart Association)

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of recent hospital-based ultrasound experience preferred
• Proficiency with PACS/RIS and clinical documentation systems
