Job Summary:
AA2IT is seeking a Computer Operator for their night shift at a 24x7 data center. The role involves monitoring and controlling various systems, interacting with customers and vendors, and resolving system alerts.
Responsibilities:
• monitoring and controlling company's worldwide organization projects and priorities
• load adjustments as required per projects
• batch balancing on all systems
• interact with internal and external customers, vendors and support teams
• monitor, identify, engage and resolve system alerts
• support calls from internal and global omega users
Qualifications:
Required:
• Highly proficient with commands, programs, scripts, advanced knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems.
• IT Operator Software Knowledge: Windows, Linux
• Communication skills.
• Reporting skills.
• Productivity.
• Documentation skills.
• Problem solving for software and hardware.
• Working knowledge of excel spreadsheets and Microsoft Word.
• Education: High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience: A minimum of 6 months related experience or training or education.
• Ability to regularly stand, crouch, stoop and walk; including pushing and pulling carts and equipment.
• The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
