About the Position:
The Element Overland Park is looking for a dependable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Full-Time Housekeeper to join our team. Housekeeping plays an important role in creating a clean, comfortable, and welcoming experience for every guest.

As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for cleaning and preparing guest rooms and maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of the hotel. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, works well independently and with a team, and understands the importance of attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clean, prepare, and inspect assigned guest rooms according to hotel standards.
  • Ensure guest rooms are clean, comfortable, and properly stocked for arriving guests.
  • Maintain cleanliness of assigned public areas and housekeeping spaces as needed.
  • Follow all hotel safety, security, and environmental procedures.
  • Properly use and care for cleaning equipment, supplies, and tools.
  • Keep your housekeeping cart, equipment, and work areas organized throughout the shift.
  • Report maintenance issues, room damage, lost and found items, or other concerns to management.
  • Respect guest privacy and maintain confidentiality regarding guests and hotel operations.
  • Respond to guest requests and questions in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Acknowledge guests when encountered throughout the hotel and provide assistance when appropriate.
  • Follow established hotel procedures and housekeeping standards.
  • Attend required training and participate fully in team meetings and learning opportunities.
  • Communicate effectively with housekeeping leadership and other hotel departments.
  • Work efficiently while maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and attention to detail.
