Haywood Regional Medical Center in Clyde, North Carolina, is seeking a Cardiologist to join Western Carolina Cardiology. This role offers the opportunity to inherit an established patient panel from a retiring physician within a thriving cardiovascular program. As part of the Duke Lifepoint Healthcare family, you will benefit from extensive clinical resources while enjoying the personalized culture of a community hospital dedicated to exceptional patient care.

Practice Info

  • Hospital-employed position with Haywood Regional Medical Center, a Duke Lifepoint hospital
  • Immediate access to an established patient base with strong referral relationships
  • Collaborative, experienced cardiology team with mentorship available
  • Average clinic volume of 16-20 patients per day
  • Consultative practice with excellent primary care referral network
  • Dedicated Advanced Practice Provider and RN support in the outpatient clinic

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic cardiac catheterizations
  • Perform pacemaker implantation
  • Perform transesophageal echocardiography (TEE)
  • Perform nuclear cardiology
  • Perform echocardiography
