Job description

BMS Operators (Battery Management System Operators)

We are currently hiring BMS Operators to join a cutting-edge lithium-ion battery manufacturing facility in Matteson, Illinois. This is an excellent opportunity for detail-oriented individuals who enjoy working with advanced technology, precision assembly, and high-quality manufacturing processes. No previous BMS experience is required, but candidates with electronics or manufacturing experience are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities
  • Assemble Battery Management System (BMS) circuit boards following work instructions and quality standards
  • Install electronic components, sensors, connectors, and wiring
  • Operate precision assembly equipment, robotic tools, and automated manufacturing systems after training
  • Perform detailed visual inspections to ensure product quality
  • Handle small electronic components with care and precision
  • Meet daily production and quality goals
  • Report equipment issues or production concerns promptly
  • Follow all quality control procedures and documentation requirements
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation
  • Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE
  • Work closely with supervisors, quality teams, and production staff
Requirements
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
  • Ability to work with very small electronic components
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Comfortable learning advanced manufacturing equipment and technology
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Ability to work rotating 12-hour shifts
  • Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive hand movements
  • Ability to lift up to 10 lbs
  • Previous manufacturing, electronics, PCB assembly, or precision assembly experience preferred
  • Basic computer skills preferred
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus

Schedule & Pay

Day Shift 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM Starting at $18.00/hr Night Shift 8:00 PM – 8:00 AM Starting at $19.00/hr

  • Rotating 12-hour schedule (Shift A, B, C & D)
  • Overtime available as needed
