DESCRIPTION
Slows Bar BQ is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented night Prep Supervisor to join our team. In this role, you will oversee evening food preparation activities within the kitchen. The Prep Supervisor will work closely with the the KM and kitchen staff to maintain a smooth workflow and uphold our commitment to exceptional food quality.
Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate all night shift food preparation activities in the kitchen.
  • Ensure that all ingredients are prepped and ready for service in accordance with established recipes and guidelines.
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety in the prep area following health and safety regulations.
  • Train and mentor kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and best practices.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed to ensure smooth operations.
  • Prepare and stage catering orders
  • Prepare and stage commissary requistions for our Berkley and Corktown locations
  • Maintain accurate records of prep and production activities.
  • Enforce proper food handling and sanitation procedures among kitchen staff.

REQUIREMENTS
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a food preparation or kitchen supervisory role
