JOB SUMMARY:
Pull merchandise from the Freezer to be loaded onto delivery trucks for the next day's deliveries.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Pull freezer products from a pick list
• Maintain superb organization of freezer products
• Occasionally verify inventory of items on computer
• Verify accuracy of order with products pulled
• Ensure excellent quality of product; check dates and for any damaged items
• Package any items not prepared for stacking in the truck
• Assist in accurately loading trucks according to the delivery driver's stops
• Safely arrange the load in a manner which it is secure and protected
• Ensure all freezer areas are kept clear, clean and orderly before leaving daily
• Work in a safe manner, ensuring safety at all times
• Complete replenishments for empty pick slots as required
• Assist in other areas of the warehouse as needed and other duties as assigned
Requirements
• High School diploma preferred
• Warehouse food distribution and forklift experience essential
• Must be dependable and able to work as a part of a team
• Reliable attendance is required
• Flexibility and excellent organizational skills
• Ability to bend and reach for products on pallets
• Ability to lift repetitively 40 pounds (and up to 80 pounds)
