Controls Service Technician - BAS & HVAC Controls - Charlotte, NCJoin a Leading Mechanical HVAC and Controls Contractor in the Carolinas

A well-established mechanical and controls contractor is seeking an experienced Controls Service Technician to support its expanding customer base throughout the Charlotte metro area. This is a hands-on field role suited for technicians with Tridium experience and strong skills in BAS service, startup, commissioning, and programming within commercial and healthcare facilities.

What You'll Do:
  • Install, troubleshoot, and commission HVAC and BAS control systems
  • Perform complete point-to-point checkout and functionality testing
  • Develop BAS programs from scratch and adjust existing logic sequences
  • Diagnose hardware, software, and communication network issues
  • Coordinate closely with installation teams and assist with field terminations
  • Ensure equipment-both onsite and remote-operates safely and efficiently
  • Conduct preventive maintenance and recommend system upgrades
  • Maintain clear communication with building owners and facilities personnel
What You Bring:
  • 3+ years of experience as a BAS or Controls Technician
  • Proficiency with Tridium Niagara systems (required)
  • Background in control system programming and graphics development
  • Ability to interpret wiring diagrams, submittals, and construction drawings
  • Strong commissioning, startup, and diagnostic skills
  • Excellent customer service and communication abilities
  • Valid driver's license and ability to work throughout the Charlotte area
