Job description

Description SAIC is seeking an NGTS/MACE/AFSIM Model Controller / Air Operations SME CAF/MAF/AFSOC (Pilot, Combat Systems Operator, or Air Battle Manager) to support the US Air Force Modeling and Simulation Exercises. The NGTS/MACE/AFSIM Model Controller / Air Operations SME shall support worldwide Air Force and Joint/Coalition partners in executing Tier 3 and 4 exercises on request. The tactical air Modeling and Simulation systems enable USAF's high-fidelity integration of virtual and constructive weapons systems to realistically representing the tactical and operational capabilities the USAF brings to the joint fight. This is a part-time/on-call position, which will include multiple 2-3-week assignments/exercises (in either Hawaii, Germany, or Republic of Korea). Target salary starts at $67.50/HR. The Controller/Gamer shall: * Understand operational mission products (Joint Integrated Orders [JIO], Air Operations Directives [AOD], Special instructions [SPINS], Airspace Control Orders [ACO], Air Tasking Orders [ATO]) and build realistic mission plans * Accurately execute USAF Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures as well as radio and data link communications to support integrated training within a synthetic environment.
* Execute the Joint Master Scenario Event List (JMSEL) to ensure stated Desired Learning Objectives and Training objectives are met. Qualifications Qualifications * 6 years' experience as a CAF/MAF/AFSOC pilot, CSO, or ABM, Air Force Tactical Modeling and Simulation Systems and Operational Air Planning.
* Knowledge of Air Force TTPs and theater level mission planning Documents and orders.
* Bachelor's degree and fourteen (14) years or more experience; or relevant years of experience in lieu of degree.
* Must be a US Citizen and currently possess a minimum Secret Clearance. Desired Qualifications: * Instructor and/or Weapons Instructor Course Graduate preferred.
* TS/SCI Clearance.
* Knowledge shall include the practical application of Air Simulation for the support of exercises, the fundamental principles of simulation-driven exercise planning, and experience in the control of a simulation center during an exercise. Target salary range: $80,001 - $120,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
