Position Overview
Serves as the subject matter expert and primary instructor on interrelationships among organizations operating in the international environment, including joint/coalition military partners, NGOs, IGOs, international organizations, US Embassy staffs, and Country Teams. Cross-trained to support instruction in other disciplines as directed by the Site Manager.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Master's degree from an accredited college or university
  • Deployed as a Military Advisor, PAS, RAS, FAO, PRT member, attaché, SCO, or equivalent with military advisory experience
  • Completed Air Command and Staff College, Senior NCO Academy, or sister service equivalent
  • Joint experience, interagency experience, experience working with coalition partners, or NGOs
  • Experience or demonstrated knowledge in military, interagency, or civilian aviation industry
  • Must be able to obtain/maintain a Secret security clearance

Primary Duties & Responsibilities
  • Provide instruction and evaluations on interrelationships among joint/coalition partners, NGOs, IGOs, international organizations, US Embassy staffs, and Country Teams
  • Teach subjects including International Organizations, Interagency Functions, Building Strategic Networks, Partner Nation Security Institutions, Partner Nation Government Structures, Legal Awareness, and Organizational Awareness
  • Liaison with Air Force Geographic Component Commands, HAF, MAJCOMs, C-NAFs, other services, and interagency/intergovernmental/NGO organizations
  • Develop, update, revise, and deliver curriculum within USAF EOS-established policy
  • Maintain satisfactory or above on Government-administered instructor evaluations
  • Support cross-training by teaching lessons in other disciplines as directed by the Site Manager

Preferred Qualifications
  • Tour at a US Embassy, Country Team, or international organization
  • Experience on a joint staff or combatant command staff

Work Environment & Conditions
  • Primary location: Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst (JB MDL), New Jersey. Contract may transition to other CONUS locations.
  • Normal duty hours: 0730-1630, Monday-Friday. Duty days may extend to 10 hours and include evenings, weekends, and holidays to support mission requirements.
  • Platform instruction normally does not exceed 6 hours per day.
  • May require OCONUS travel to PACOM, EUCOM, SOUTHCOM, AFRICOM, and CENTCOM (non-combat areas) as part of Mobile Training Teams (MTTs). Valid passport required.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
