Job description

Nakupuna Companies seeks an Analyst III to join a team working under the Office of Health Diplomacy. The Office of Health Diplomacy (HD) serves as the Bureau of Global Health Security and Diplomacy's (GHSD) central hub for supporting the America First Global Health Strategy. HD focuses on advancing health security, international cooperation, and diplomatic engagement to protect and promote national and global interests.
HD seeks a versatile expert capable of navigating complex international landscapes to advance the strategic objectives of the U.S. Government (USG) through collaborative partnerships and policy implementation. Responsibilities The Analyst III will provide high-level strategic support and technical expertise to advance health diplomacy objectives and ensure the successful implementation of the America First Global Health Strategy. The following reflects management's definition of essential functions for this job but does not restrict the tasks that may be assigned. Management may assign additional duties and responsibilities to this job at any time due to reasonable accommodation or other reasons. * Coordinate with diverse stakeholders, including partner-country governments, NGOs, and the private sector, to achieve long-term health security and diplomatic objectives * Navigate complex international landscapes to foster collaborative partnerships that promote U.S. national interests * Prepare high-quality briefing materials and reports for senior USG leadership and international partners regarding health security initiatives. * Assist in the design and oversight of diplomatic engagement strategies to ensure alignment with Department of State initiatives * Facilitate communication and collaboration between interagency partners and global health bodies to streamline diplomatic efforts Deliverables * Strategic engagement plans and policy briefing papers for senior leadership * Reports on international partnership development and diplomatic outreach * Technical assessments of foreign assistance programming alignment with the America First Global Health Strategy * Monthly summary reports detailing milestones, stakeholder engagement outcomes, and strategic recommendations Qualifications Skills/Qualifications: Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in ambiguous and evolving environments. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to proactively identify and address challenges. * Proven track record working with non-governmental organizations (NGOs), government agencies, the private sector, or other international bodies * Familiarity with U.S. Government (USG) foreign assistance programming and the implementation of large-scale health strategies is a plus * Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the expertise to brief senior-level leadership and international partners. * Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in ambiguous and evolving international environments * Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to proactively identify and address global health security challenges * Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 applications, with experience in SharePoint preferred Education and Experience: * Canddiate has a PhD: Minimum of 4 or more years of relevant professional experience * Canddiate has a Master's Degree: Minimum of 8 or more years of relevant professional experience. * Canddiate has a Bachelor's Degree: Minimum of 10 or more years of highly relevant professional experience * Relevant Fields: Public Health, International Relations, Medical Sciences, Social Sciences, Demography, Epidemiology, or Business Administration. Clearance Requirements: Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance. Physical Requirements: The ideal candidate must at a minimum be able to meet the following physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation : * Ability to perform repetitive motions with the hands, wrists, and fingers. * Ability to engage in and follow audible communications in emergency situations. * Ability to sit for prolonged periods at a desk and working on a computer. The Nakupuna Companies use a market-based compensation strategy to ensure that our employees are compensated within applicable market ranges commensurate with multiple factors, including but not limited to the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability, organizational requirements, and position location. The projected compensation for this position is $95,000.00 to $100,000.00 (annualized USD). The salary range displayed represents the typical range for this position and is just one component of Nakupuna Companies total compensation package for employees.
