What is NGO work?

NGO work refers to employment or volunteer opportunities within non-governmental organizations (NGOs). These organizations operate independently from government control and focus on various social, environmental, humanitarian, or advocacy causes. People working in NGOs may engage in program management, fundraising, research, advocacy, or direct service delivery. NGO work often involves collaborating with communities, governments, and donors to create positive social impact. It's a field suitable for those passionate about making a difference and addressing global or local issues.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive in NGO work, and why are they important?

To thrive in NGO work, you need a background in social sciences or international relations, strong project management abilities, and relevant field experience.
