Job description

The NFL is seeking a Senior Manager of Event Production to support the delivery and management of the NFL's U.S.-based tentpole events as well as Latin America, Australia, and Asia, with a primary focus on fan experiences. This role will contribute to event planning, operational execution, and fan engagement initiatives, helping deliver high-quality experiences that align with broader business, commercial, marketing, and international market objectives.

Responsibilities

Event Management

  • Proven experience supporting the planning and delivery of both large and small-scale events across the U.S. and internationally
  • Operational experience across sport and fan/public events
  • Working knowledge of key event components, including security operations, health and safety, local authority coordination, programming, community engagement, scheduling, branding/creative, and procurement
  • Ability to create reporting to relevant stakeholders, including post mortems

Fan Event Delivery

  • Support the planning and execution of events supporting Super Bowl, Draft, Combine, NFL FLAG (domestic tentpole events)S, as well as year-round activities in collaboration with local international offices and key business functions
  • Assist in delivering gameday and non-gameday fan experiences, kickoff events, watch parties, local market activations internationally, NFL club activations, community initiatives, partner integration, and lead generation activities
  • Conduit to the NFL OnePass app (event companion app) content and engagement

Budgeting

  • Support the tracking and management of fan event budgets in the U.S. and internationally
  • Assist in monitoring costs to ensure delivery within agreed targets, highlighting risks and opportunities
  • Contribute to building event budgets in line with event plans and League procurement processes

Agency Management

  • Support the day-to-day management of event agencies across fan events
  • Assist with RFP processes and onboarding of vendors where required
  • Maintain strong working relationships with agency partners

Team & Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to support successful event delivery
  • Contribute to cross-functional working groups globally
  • Assist in coordinating with external partners, including city/host authorities, local organizing committees, government sports bodies, and stadium/team partners

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years' experience in the events and/or hospitality industry
  • Some prior experience in team leadership or mentoring
  • Strong knowledge of delivering large-scale fan or public events
  • Experience managing or supporting event budgets
  • Experience working with multiple partners and agencies
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Commercial awareness with the ability to support revenue-generating initiatives
  • Interest in or understanding of American Football is a plus
