Job description

Indiana University Health in partnership with the Indiana University School of Medicine is seeking a highly skilled and collaborative Emergency Radiologist to join our growing team in Indianapolis, Indiana.This physician will play a vital role in providing timely, accurate imaging interpretation for patients across a comprehensive academic and tertiary care network. As part of Indiana's leading healthcare system, the Emergency Radiologist will work in a fast-paced environment supporting Level I trauma services, comprehensive stroke care, emergency departments and inpatient services. This position offers the opportunity to practice cutting-edge emergency radiology while collaborating with nationally recognized specialists and multidisciplinary care teams.

Job Details

  • Join a nationally recognized academic health system.
  • Interpret a broad spectrum of emergency and acute care imaging studies. 
  • Support high-volume emergency departments, trauma centers and tertiary care hospitals 
  • Provide rapid and accurate diagnostic reports to support urgent clinical decision-making.
  • Participate in trauma activations and emergency imaging consultations. 
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Support the academic mission through teaching medical students, residents, and fellows as desired.

Qualifications 

  • MD/DO
  • Completion of an ACGME Radiology Residency.
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in the State of Indiana
  • Eligible for medical licensure in Indiana.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
