Schedule: Full-Time (with On-Call Rotation)

Overview

NexGen (A Rooter Hero Company) is seeking a skilled Plumbing Service Technician to join our growing team in Simi Valley, CA. This role is ideal for a motivated professional with hands-on service experience who enjoys problem-solving, customer interaction, and delivering high-quality plumbing solutions.

You'll be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems while providing excellent customer service and driving revenue through accurate recommendations and estimates.

Responsibilities
  • Diagnose plumbing issues and perform service and repairs on residential and commercial systems
  • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot water, drain, and gas systems
  • Provide clear estimates and explain repair or replacement options to customers
  • Ensure all work complies with local codes, safety standards, and company policies
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and build long-term client relationships
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicle in excellent condition
  • Participate in on-call rotation and respond to service requests as needed
  • Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive work environment

Requirements

Must Have:

  • At least 1 year of service plumbing experience
  • Must live within 30 miles of the shop (Mission Hills, CA)
  • Must have own hand tools
  • No more than 2 driving tickets on record
  • Clean driving record with no DUI
  • Valid driver's license
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers
  • Ability to work weekends and on-call shifts
