Job description

The Office of Marketing & Communications is seeking a Newsletter Editor & Communications Assistant to help produce our weekly campus newsletter and support college communications efforts. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys storytelling, pays close attention to detail, and can manage recurring deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
Campus Newsletter. Coordinate, edit, and publish the college's weekly campus newsletter, ensuring content is organized, accurate, and written according to the Cornell style guide. The newsletter must be completed each week on Tuesday evenings.
Weekly Events. Organize and prepare content for the college's weekly "Events This Week" social media posts. Content must be finalized by 8:00 a.m. each Monday.
Social Media Analytics. Assist with monthly social media reporting by organizing data and updating performance spreadsheets.
Communications Support. Provide additional writing, editing, and marketing support for Office of Marketing & Communications projects as time and availability permit.
Experience with AP Style, writing and editing, Adobe Photoshop, spreadsheets, and data organization is encouraged but not required. Training will be provided for all aspects of the position.
