JLR Apprentice Technician
Checkered Flag Automotive Group is looking for an experienced JLR Apprentice Technician to join our team in Virginia Beach, VA!

What Our Apprentice Technicians Do
  • Assist senior technicians with diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical problems on vehicles
  • Perform routine maintenance on vehicles, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections
  • Assist with the installation of performance upgrades and accessories on vehicles
  • Learn and keep up to date with the latest technologies and repair methods
  • Communicate with service advisors and customers regarding repairs and maintenance
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Follow all safety procedures and guidelines

Your Pre-Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Enrolled in a technical school program in automotive repair or equivalent work experience
  • Passion for learning and a desire to become a technician
  • Basic knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to learn and follow all safety procedures and guidelines
  • Must have a valid driver's license with 4 or fewer moving violations in the last 3 years.
    • Major violations in the last 3 years, such as DUI or Reckless Driving, will disqualify candidates.
