FOX Television Stations owns and operates 29 full power broadcast television stations in the U.S. These include stations located in 14 of the top 15 largest designated market areas, or DMAs, and duopolies in 11 DMAs, including the three largest DMAs (New York, Los Angeles and Chicago). Of these stations, 18 are affiliated with the FOX Network. In addition to distributing sports, entertainment and syndicated content, our television stations collectively produce approximately 1,200 hours of local news every week. These stations leverage viewer, distributor and advertiser demand for the FOX Network's national content.

KDFW FOX 4 is seeking a talented News Photographer who thrives on storytelling, embraces breaking news, and is passionate about creating compelling visual content that informs and engages audiences across broadcast, streaming, and digital platforms.
As a News Photographer at FOX 4, you'll work in a highly competitive, top-market newsroom known for its award-winning journalism, breaking news coverage, and commitment to serving North Texas communities. From major breaking news and severe weather events to impactful investigations and community stories, you'll help shape how millions of viewers experience the news every day.
We're entering an exciting new chapter at FOX 4. Soon, our team will move into a brand-new, state-of-the-art broadcast and digital media facility equipped with cutting-edge technology and production capabilities. Responsibilities
  • Shoot and edit high-quality video and audio for newscasts and digital platforms.
  • Collaborate with reporters and producers to create engaging, deadline-driven stories.
  • Cover breaking news and live events using ENG and IP-based transmission technology.
  • Produce content optimized for broadcast, web, streaming, and social media platforms.
  • Operate and maintain cameras, lighting, audio gear, live transmission equipment, and news vehicles.
  • Exercise strong editorial judgment in fast-paced environments.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
  • 3-5 years' experience as a television news photographer (competitive market preferred).
  • Strong video composition, lighting, and audio skills.
  • Experience with live transmission technologies (Satellite, Cellular Bonding, IP workflows preferred).
  • Non-linear editing proficiency (e.g., Edius, Adobe Premiere, or similar platforms).
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $24.20-38.28 per hour. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
