Established in 1978, this private practice quickly became the leading eye care provider in the Spokane area. After opening a second location in Chewelah, The Eye Care Team has cared for generations of families in Eastern Washington. The practice lives by its mission to improve the quality of life for every patient we see, every time we see them. In addition to offering full-scope optometry, the doctors specialize in medical optometry, including dry eye therapy, myopia control, eye disease diagnosis and management, specialty contact lenses, and surgical co-management. To help support a growing and expanding business, the practice is adding an Optometrist to the team of 15 employees.

The Eye Care Team is at the forefront of the industry's latest technology and uses state-of-the-art vision care technology to diagnose and treat a wide array of eye diseases.The practice is well-appointed with automatedoptical equipment and behind-the-scenes functional technology, includingocular coherence tomography, visual fields, ultra-wide field camera, iCare Tonometer, LipiFlow, and IPL. Patients will enjoy shopping at the large optical boutique that features high-end frames-no other optical department in the Chewelah area compares to The Eye Care Team.

About the Optometrist Opening

The Eye Care Team is seeking an Optometrist passionate about providingthe highest level ofpatient-centriccare.In this role, you will work 2 days per week at the team's Spokane location, and 2 days a week at our Chewelah location. You'll perform routine vision exams and medical eye exams, recommend vision-enhancing products and promote good eye health through patient education. On average, 16 to 24 patients are cared for daily-scheduled for 20 or 30-minute appointments-a scribe is available to support doctors during 20-minute appointments. The practice is looking for a full-scope practitioner who enjoys practicing medical-oriented eye care. The position is full-time, Monday through Friday, with no weekend hours. This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-performing team that values a supportive environment where everyone thrives.

To be successful in this role, you must demonstrate leadership, communication, interpersonal skills, and compassion for patient health and safety. In addition, the ideal candidatewill want to continuously develop skills through mentorship with experienced doctors and be willing to integrate new techniques and innovations that improve patient care and services.
