What you'll do:
As an Optometrist at Family Vision Care, you can expect a fulfilling and dynamic work environment where each day presents new challenges. You will care for a diverse range of patients, from conducting routine eye exams for young children to assisting seniors with age-related vision changes and offering specialized treatments for complex eye conditions. With access to advanced technology, including Topcon AR/AK, FDT, and Optos Monaco Retinal Photography, as well as well-equipped exam lanes featuring automatic phoropters and electronic health records via Eyefinity EHR, you'll confidently perform comprehensive eye tests to provide accurate diagnoses and tailored solutions. Offering in-office procedures using Bleph-Ex, I-Lux and Nu-Lids instruments complement your anterior segment treatment recommendations. You will work closely with a skilled team to provide every patient with a seamless and compassionate experience. This full-time position involves a 35-hour workweek, during which you will conduct 15 full exams (each allocated a 30-minute time slot). Brief visits may be double-booked at the start of the hour as needed.
Who you are:
