Overview
Furniture Delivery Driver
We are seeking a reliable, skilled Delivery Driver/Furniture Assembler to join our team. This role involves picking up a delivery truck at a designated location, retrieving furniture from a national supplier, delivering items to customer homes or businesses, and performing on-site assembly. This is a two-person team role, and we strongly encourage applicants to apply with a partner if possible-if you know someone who would be a great fit, bring them along as your teammate!
Starting Pay: $25/hour
Referral Bonus: Earn a $100 bonus if you refer a qualified teammate who is hired and completes initial employment requirements.
The ideal candidate is physically capable, detail-oriented, and provides excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
• Pick up and operate a delivery truck safely and responsibly (must be able to drive an 18-foot box truck)
• Travel to a national furniture supplier to collect daily orders
• Deliver furniture to residential and commercial customer locations
• Assemble furniture on-site efficiently and correctly
• Carry and transport items, including upstairs, as needed
• Remove all packaging and debris and dispose of it at designated locations
• Maintain clear and professional communication with customers and team members
• Use a smartphone for job tracking and enable location services during working hours
• Perform additional furniture assembly or store service work as assigned
Requirements:
• Ability to lift and carry at least 75 pounds regularly
• Must have own tools required for furniture assembly
• Proven experience in furniture assembly
• Clean driving record
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work a full-time schedule
• Comfortable with physical labor, including stair carries
• Reliable transportation to pick up delivery truck
• Must own a smartphone and be willing to use it for work-related tasks
• Ability to work effectively as part of a two-person team
Preferred Qualifications:
• Prior experience in delivery and logistics
• Familiarity with a wide range of furniture brands and assembly processes
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
Work Environment:
• Combination of driving, indoor, and outdoor work environments
• Frequent lifting, bending, and physical activity required
