This opportunity is ideal for a doctor who values meaningful patient relationships, quality care, and the chance to make a lasting impact in a welcoming, family-focused environment.
Why join us?
My Optics of Little Silver is built on individualized care and a family-focused approach to primary eye care. Known for truly understanding patients and their families, the practice delivers outstanding care tailored to each person's needs. Deeply rooted in the Little Silver community, the team provides thoughtful, high-quality care in a warm, personalized setting where patients feel seen, valued, and cared for. What you'll do:

Working one day per week, preferably Thursdays, this position supports 14 to 20 patients depending on exam type and schedule, with a focus on quality care rather than volume. The role includes performing comprehensive eye exams, developing tailored care solutions, and partnering closely with opticians and administrative staff to create a seamless, compassionate experience for every patient.
Who you are:
The ideal candidate is a compassionate, patient-centered Optometrist with a genuine commitment to delivering exceptional eye care and improving the vision health of the community. This role is best suited for a doctor who values quality over quantity, takes time to understand each patient's needs, and is confident caring for a range of patients across age groups and visual conditions. Success in this position requires strong clinical skills, excellent communication, and a collaborative mindset, with the ability to work closely alongside opticians, technicians, and administrative staff to ensure a seamless patient experience. A passion for continuous learning, personalized treatment planning, and making a meaningful impact each day will support both the continued success of the practice and its trusted reputation in the community.
Why you'll love Little Silver:
Little Silver offers the charm of a close-knit community with the convenience of being near everything the Jersey Shore region has to offer.
