Job description

Crusoe is on a mission to accelerate the abundance of energy and intelligence. As the only vertically integrated AI infrastructure company built from the ground up, we own and operate each layer of the stack — from electrons to tokens — to power the world's most ambitious AI workloads. When you join Crusoe, you join a team that is building the future, faster.

We're in the midst of the greatest industrial revolution of our time. The demand for AI compute is boundless, and power is a bottleneck. We're solving that — with an energy-first approach that makes AI infrastructure better for the world and faster for the people innovating with AI.

We're looking for problem-solving, opportunity-finding teammates with a sense of urgency, who believe in the scale of our ambition and thrive on a path not fully paved — people who want to grow their careers alongside a team of experts across energy, manufacturing, data center construction, and cloud services.

If you want to do the most meaningful work of your career, help our customers and partners advance their AI strategies, and be part of a high-performing team that believes in each other, come build with us at Crusoe.

About This Role:

Crusoe is seeking a dedicated and strategic New Product Introduction (NPI) Category Manager to support and optimize New Product Introductions for Crusoe Cloud compute initiatives. This role is critical for driving speed and efficiency, new standards, and high quality of deployments, directly contributing to the overall success of Crusoe's Cloud expansion. We are looking for a strong operator and strategic thinker who can be the single threaded leader for NPI Sourcing, bringing a strong background in global sourcing, project management, supplier relationship management, and process improvement to the team. This is a full-time position with flexibility to be based in San Francisco (CA), Sunnyvale (CA), Seattle (WA), or Denver (CO).

What You'll Be Working On

  • Strategic Sourcing: Develop and implement global sourcing strategies that are innovative, cost-effective, and consistently aligned with company objectives.

  • End-to-End NPI Process Management: Manage the entire NPI process, overseeing everything from project kickoff, sampling, design, and release

  • Supplier Relationship Management: Evaluate and actively manage relationships with key suppliers, ensuring they consistently meet our stringent quality standards and critical delivery deadlines.

  • Risk Management & Contingency: Conduct comprehensive risk management for all supply contracts and agreements, including proactive contingency planning to ensure business continuity.

  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Lead cross-functional teams and coordinate activities with internal and external stakeholders to accurately plan for new products

  • Sustainability Integration: Implement and champion sustainability practices in procurement and sourcing operations, ensuring alignment with Crusoe’s environmental goals.

  • Industry Trend Monitoring: Stay current with industry trends, market conditions, and NPI innovations to maintain Crusoe’s competitive edge.

What You’ll Bring to the Team

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain/Logistics, International Trade, or a related field.

  • Experience & Leadership: Approximately 5-7 years of experience in supply chain, sourcing, or procurement, preferably for Data Center Infrastructure, Cloud, or Hardware supply chains.

  • Operational Track Record: Proven track record of successfully managing NPI deployments, complex supply chains, ensuring vendor compliance, and implementing process improvements.

  • Core Skills: Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

  • Analytical Prowess: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.

  • Strategic Supply Management: Proven experience working with global manufacturers and owning process qualification, documentation, and all supplier ramp approvals

  • Supply Chain Experience: Background working with hyperscalers, OEM/ODMs, or infrastructure providers

  • Compliance: Must be able to pass a background check.

Bonus Points

  • Experience managing Data Center infrastructure categories either in the greyspace or whitespace

  • Professional certification such as CPSM, CSCP, or CPIM.

  • Experience with AI/data center infrastructure supply chains.

Benefits:

  • Competitive compensation

  • Restricted Stock Units

  • Paid time off & paid holidays

  • Comprehensive health, dental & vision insurance

  • Employer contributions to HSA account

  • Paid parental leave

  • Paid life insurance, short-term and long-term disability

  • Professional development & tuition reimbursement

  • Mental health & wellness support

  • Commuter benefits (parking & transit)

  • Cell phone stipend

  • 401(k) Retirement plan with company match up to 4% of salary

  • Volunteer time off

Compensation Range

Compensation will be paid in the range of up to $132,000 -$160,000 + Bonus. Restricted Stock Units are included in all offers. Compensation to be determined by the applicants knowledge, education, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
