Innovation & New Product Development
  • Lead the development and launch of multiple new products annually.
  • Balance a product strategy consisting of both:
    • Ground-up innovation and internally developed concepts.
    • Supplier-developed products that are modified, differentiated, and optimized for Lasko consumers.
  • Drive innovation initiatives through supplier partnerships, technology scouting, consumer research, and internal ideation programs.
  • Organize and participate in innovation workshops, supplier innovation sessions, and cross-functional ideation events.

Consumer & Market Insights
  • Champion the voice of the consumer throughout the product development process.
  • Analyze product reviews, star ratings, customer feedback, returns data, and competitive offerings to identify opportunities for product improvement.
  • Translate consumer insights into actionable product requirements and development priorities.

  • Influence product architecture, feature prioritization, user experience, and commercialization strategies.

Cross-Functional Leadership
  • Collaborate with Product Managers responsible for adjacent categories and business segments.
  • Serve as a strategic thought partner to senior leadership on product investments and portfolio decisions.
  • Influence teams across Product Management, Category Management, Engineering, Consumer Insights, Sales, Marketing, and Operations.
  • Establish best practices and elevate product management capabilities across the organization.

Qualifications
Required
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Product Management, or related field.
  • 8+ years of progressive product management experience for the Senior Product Manager level
  • Experience owning product strategy, roadmaps, and commercialization efforts.
  • Strong ability to translate consumer insights into product requirements and business opportunities.
  • Proven track record of increasing responsibility and leadership throughout career progression.
  • Experience working with global suppliers, OEM/ODM partners, or contract manufacturers.
  • Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and communication skills.
  • Experience owning and driving the strategic direction of a product portfolio exceeding $100 million in annual revenue.

Preferred
  • Experience within consumer durables, small appliances, electronics, home products, housewares, HVAC, air treatment, or adjacent categories.
  • Background leading both breakthrough innovation and line-extension/product enhancement initiatives.

  • Establishes a robust innovation pipeline fueled by consumer insights and supplier partnerships.
  • Improves product ratings, customer satisfaction, and portfolio performance through data-driven decision making.
  • Becomes a trusted strategic advisor to the CTPO and executive leadership team.
  • Elevates product management processes and helps set the standard for product excellence across Lasko.
