Job description

As a Product Developer at Epicor, you will design, develop, test, and maintain modern applications while contributing throughout the software development lifecycle. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, reliable, and secure software solutions that support business objectives and customer success. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality code, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives, and helping drive engineering excellence through modern development practices and AI-assisted technologies. We are seeking applicants with strong problem-solving skills, a collaborative mindset, and a passion for learning and innovation.

What you will be doing:
  • Analyze, develop, test, debug, and maintain software applications, services, APIs, and frameworks.
  • Participate in design discussions, code reviews, and technical problem-solving to deliver high-quality software solutions.
  • Leverage AI-assisted development tools to improve coding efficiency, testing effectiveness, and technical documentation.
  • Contribute to code quality, application performance, security, and maintainability by following established engineering standards and best practices.
  • Develop and maintain tools, automation, and processes that support efficient software delivery and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, build, and deliver scalable, reliable, and secure software solutions.
  • Estimate assigned work accurately and deliver quality solutions on schedule while continuously learning new technologies and contributing ideas to improve engineering practices.
What you will likely bring:
  • 3+ years' experience in software engineering, including modern application development and enterprise software solutions.
  • 2+ years' experience in cloud technologies, AI-assisted development, or related technical domains, with working knowledge of Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Experience with one or more modern programming languages or frameworks such as Python, C#, Node.js, or similar technologies.
  • Experience with software design, automated testing, CI/CD practices, code reviews, and Agile development methodologies.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, debugging, collaboration, and communication skills, with the ability to learn new technologies and business domains quickly.
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
