New Life Physical Therapy and Wellness Center is actively seeking a dedicated and experienced Physical Therapist to join our dynamic orthopedic outpatient practice in Fresno, California. This full-time position offers a unique opportunity to integrate advanced physical therapy techniques in a supportive environment, focused on restoring mobility and enhancing the quality of life for our patients. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing tailored treatment plans that promote optimal recovery and performance.

Work Environment

You will work in an onsite, cutting-edge rehabilitation center where your role will be part of a cohesive team consisting of experienced physical therapists and a physical therapist assistant. Our environment is designed to foster collaboration, with spaces that promote effective therapy sessions, patient engagement, and teamwork. The scheduled work hours are Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a consistent routine that encourages a balanced work-life dynamic.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough patient evaluations to identify goals and establish treatment objectives tailored to individual needs.
  • Manage a patient load of one individual per hour, ensuring dedicated and quality care during each session.
  • Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans that incorporate a variety of therapeutic modalities.
  • Utilize manual therapy techniques as well as exercise prescription to enhance patients' range of motion and mobility.
  • Encourage patients to embrace non-surgical alternatives and minimize reliance on medication through comprehensive rehabilitation plans.
  • Monitor and document patient progress accurately, modifying treatment plans as required to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Provide education and motivation to patients regarding their treatment journey, thereby enhancing their recoveries.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care that addresses all aspects of health and wellness.
  • Stay current with advancements in therapy practices and contribute to a culture of continuous professional development.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our practice primarily serves individuals with private medical insurance, bringing diverse cases into our clinic from sports injuries to postoperative rehabilitation. You will work closely with a varied patient demographic, providing care that enhances their mobility and functional abilities. Your expertise will directly contribute to their recovery journey, helping patients regain independence and improve overall wellness.

Qualifications
  • A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program is required.
  • A valid California Physical Therapist license with no disciplinary actions.
  • Exceptional proficiency in manual therapy techniques, along with developing and leading exercise programs.
  • Experience utilizing EMR Software, particularly WebPT, to document patient care and treatment plans efficiently.
Preferred Experience
  • Previous experience working in an orthopedic outpatient environment is strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to foster strong patient relationships and deliver compassionate care.
  • Experience in collaborative settings with other healthcare professionals.
Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience.
