Job Title: Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) – Holistic Private Practice

Location: Sparks, NV

Job Type: Part-Time (with transition to Full-Time as patient load allows)

Reports To: Practice Owner

Our mission is to support the physical and emotional health of our patients across the lifespan. We value compassionate care, collaboration, and evidence-based practices that include both conventional and alternative treatment modalities. Our providers see 2 patients per hour on average to allow time to address concerns fully. We highly value our staff's work & life balance, providing tools and adequate time for work duties during scheduled work time. 
Position Summary:

We are currently seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner to join our team on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate is passionate about integrative and preventative care, comfortable managing a wide range of acute and chronic conditions, and skilled in building lasting relationships with patients and families. 
Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive primary care to patients of all ages in alignment with integrative health principles.
  • Conduct physical exams, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop treatment plans.
  • Manage acute and chronic illnesses with a whole-person approach.
  • Educate patients on wellness, nutrition, lifestyle changes, and preventive care.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals within the practice.
  • Document patient encounters and maintain accurate medical records in the EHR system.
  • Prescribe medications and alternative treatments in accordance with state and federal regulations.
  • Stay current with best practices in family and holistic medicine through ongoing education and training.
Qualifications:

  • Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
  • Current certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C or FNP-BC).
  • Active and unrestricted state license to practice as an NP.
  • DEA license and prescriptive authority (or ability to obtain).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-based care environment.
