The position offers a mix of remote work and onsite collaboration in Iowa, with the opportunity to work directly with cutting-edge cockpit display hardware and to contribute immediately to active flight display programs.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, modify, and maintain embedded software solutions for avionics display systems using Embedded C++.
  • Generate, review, and verify low-level software requirements in alignment with system and certification needs.
  • Perform software integration activities across multiple display applications and system-level requirements.
  • Execute unit testing, requirements-based testing, and software verification activities to ensure compliance with DO-178C.
  • Support DO-178C certification processes, including preparation and maintenance of related documentation.
  • Collaborate closely with systems, software, hardware, and test engineers throughout the full development lifecycle.
  • Troubleshoot software and system-level issues during integration and testing, both in lab environments and on actual hardware.
