Job description

Baystate Health, a nationally recognized leader in healthcare quality and safety, and home to Baystate Medical Center (BMC), a Magnet Hospital for Nursing Excellence is looking for a medical telemetry inpatient Registered Nurse to join our team in Springfield, MA.

Our medical telemetry unit offers elbow-to-elbow support and comes fully equipped to help you do what YOU do best, provide for our patients!

DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION:

  • Wesson 4 is a dedicated, growing team, with an engaged Manager, committed to the professional growth and development of the team, and dedicated to patient experience.
  • This unit offers participation in nurse driven change projects, great nursing ratios, and optimal support.
  • This unit is a 36-bed unit with 24 telemetry monitors.
  • Close partnership with Physician Medical Director.
  • Teaching unit for Medical Residents and Nursing Students.

SCHEDULE:

  • Per Diem
  • All per diem staff will work a minimum of 36 hours total in a 6-week schedule period. This must include 1 12-hour weekend shift and be available for (1) 12-hour shift for a major holiday a year.
  • Location: Baystate Medical Center Springfield

Pay:

  • New Grad RN (0-1 year of RN Licensure) $41.00
  • Experienced RN (1+ years of RN Licensure) $43.16-$65.00

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Successfully passed Board of Registration in Nursing Examination and is licensed in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
  • Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider CPR certification required.
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year RN experience required.
  • Education: AND required; BSN preferred.
