Overview

Up to $382,500 + $40k Sign-On | Independent Practice | Wednesday 24-Hour Anchor | 7 Weeks PTO

Somnia Anesthesia is seeking a Full-Time Independent Practice CRNA to join our team at St. Joseph's Medical Center. We are looking for a provider to anchor our mid-week coverage with a recurring Wednesday First Call (24-Hour) shift. Compensation & Benefits:

  • Annualized Salary (Based on Experience | Inclusive of call stipends):
    • 5+ Years: $382,500
    • 2-5 Years: $373,500
    • 0-2 Years: $364,500
  • Sign-On Bonus: $40,000-$60,000 (dependent on time of commitment)
  • 7 Week Unpaid Time Off
  • Provider is responsible for malpractice coverage (2mil/4mil)

Practice Environment

  • Facility: St. Joseph's Medical Center (Stockton, CA) - A 355-bed regional hospital and Level III Trauma Center.
  • Schedule: Every Wednesday - First Call (In-House 24 Hour).
  • Call Expectations: In-house shifts with post-call days off.
  • Balance: Remaining hours scheduled flexibly to ensure work-life balance.
  • Practice Model: Full Independent Practice. No medical direction.
  • Scope: Full scope of practice including regional anesthesia, arterial lines, central lines, and high-acuity cases.
  • Team: Work alongside 14 physicians, 30+ independent-practice CRNAs, and 24 resident physicians.
  • Case Mix: ~14,300 annual cases including General, Trauma, Cardiac (~800/yr), OB (3,000 births/yr), and Interventional Radiology.
  • Academic: Work in a supportive teaching environment alongside the Anesthesia Residency program.

Qualifications:

  • Active California RN and CRNA License.
  • Motivated to practice independently in a supportive, collaborative academic environment.
