Job description

HealthPlus Staffing is seeking a Outpatient Psychiatrist to join our amazing team of 5 Psychiatrists, 7 Advanced Practice Providers, and a staff of RNs and social workers in their Behavioral Health group. They provide adult inpatient and outpatient Behavioral Health services.

This Medical Center is a 378-bed regional referral hospital that is a level II trauma center and offers a wide range of high-quality medical care to residents of Southern Oregon.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Education: Graduate of an approved medical school and completion of residency training in Psychiatry.

License / Certification: MD or DO licensed by the Oregon Board of Medical Examiners (OBME) and board certification/eligibility in Psychiatry required. Must obtain and maintain medical staff membership and appropriate privileges this includes but is not limited to, holding position-specific certifications/memberships as determined by the Medical Staff team (i.e. ACLS, BLS, PALS, etc.); Must be eligible as a provider for Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal health programs; Physician shall meet all qualifications to participate in hospital's programs for professional malpractice and other liability coverage

Experience: Clinical experience in hospital and community psychiatry in residency program required. Minimum of one year clinical experience in hospital and community psychiatry is preferred. Ability to address clinical problems by analyzing, synthesizing, and interpreting information through the use of creative and critical thinking skills while maintaining the human dignity in those we serve.
