Salary Range: $53.99 - $77.79
Shift Differentials:
  • $2.50 extra for working between 3:00pm - 11:00pm
  • $10.00 extra for working between 11:01pm and 7:00am
  • $2.50 extra for working weekends

The Family Birth Center at Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center is the regional referral center for high-risk patients spanning Northern California and Southern Oregon, with an average of 1,600 deliveries per year.
Our trustworthy care teams are a preferred choice for our patients and providers. Our team of skilled clinicians strive to provide medical excellence. Including utilizing a family-centered model for drug exposed infants, the renowned "Eat, Sleep, Console" method.
In addition, our team also follows the gold standards for staffing perinatal units, set forth by the leading authority in perinatal nursing, the Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN). We also serve as the state's first Emergency Department for OB patients, where our OB hospitalists are on call 24/7, allowing our skilled nursing staff to have continuous physician support.

What You'll Do
  • Collaborate interdepartmentally to deliver excellent mother- baby patient care
  • Provide excellent nursing care to patients with various acuities
  • Demonstrate organizational skills in the delivery of nursing care to patients with flexibility and a willingness to adjust priorities in response to changes in patient acuity, volume, emergencies, staffing or scheduling

Position Qualifications
Education
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred

Experience
One of the following is required
  • At least 1 year of labor and delivery experience required - OR -
  • A combination of at least 1 year Labor and Delivery experience/antepartum experience - OR -
  • Currently be in the New Grad RN Residency Program in OB at ARRMC - OR -
  • New graduate RNs within 6 months of obtaining licensure may be considered without prior experience requirements

License/Certification
  • RN: Registered Nurse licensed by Oregon State Board of Nursing required upon start
  • BLS: Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider certified through the American Heart Association (AHA) required upon start
  • NRP: Neonatal Resuscitation Program must be obtained within 4 months of hire date
  • RNC-OB: Registered Nurse Certified-Inpatient Obstetrics Nurse, preferred
  • RNC-MNN: Registered Nurse Certified-Maternal Newborn Nurse, preferred
  • C-EFM: Electronic Fetal Monitoring Certified, preferred
