Little Sisters of the Poor โ€“ Sacred Heart Residence is seeking a PRN Registered Nurse (RN) to join our nursing team on all shifts. As a faith-based, non-profit organization, we are dedicated to providing exceptional, person-centered care while honoring the dignity and worth of every resident.

What You'll Do

As a PRN RN, you will provide high-quality nursing care and support residents by:

  • Assessing residents and monitoring changes in their condition.
  • Administering medications and treatments safely and accurately.
  • Responding to resident needs and emergency situations.
  • Communicating with physicians, families, and the interdisciplinary care team.
  • Supervising and supporting Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs).
  • Maintaining accurate electronic medical records and documentation.
  • Assisting with care planning and ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Promoting a culture of compassion, dignity, and person-centered care.
QualificationsRequired
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Alabama.
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Current BLS/CPR Certification for Healthcare Providers.

  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

Schedule

PRN (As Needed)

  • Evening Shift: 3:00 PM โ€“ 11:30 PM
  • Night Shift: 11:00 PM โ€“ 7:30 AM
  • Flexible scheduling based on staffing needs.
