Job Description:
Join a growing enterprise technology team as a Network Engineer, where you'll play a critical role in maintaining and enhancing the organization's network and cloud infrastructure. This position offers a blend of operational support, infrastructure engineering, and project-based work, making it ideal for a hands-on professional who enjoys solving complex technical challenges. You'll work closely with systems administrators, infrastructure engineers, and business stakeholders to ensure reliable, secure, and scalable network operations across multiple business functions.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer, monitor, and support enterprise network infrastructure across physical and cloud environments.
  • Create and manage Azure Virtual Desktop virtual machines and related cloud services.
  • Maintain and support switches, firewalls, wireless networks, and core infrastructure components.
  • Assist with office expansions, network upgrades, and infrastructure deployment projects.
  • Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate operational and administrative tasks.
  • Monitor network performance, availability, and capacity while proactively identifying improvement opportunities.
  • Troubleshoot infrastructure issues and participate in incident response and root cause analysis efforts.
  • Partner with systems administration and business teams to support operational needs and strategic initiatives.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, standards, and best practices.
  • Clearly communicate technical concepts and solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • 4+ years of Network Engineering experience.
  • Strong experience creating and managing Azure Virtual Desktop virtual machines (required).
  • Experience supporting switches, firewalls, routing, and enterprise network infrastructure.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft technologies including Azure, Intune, and Entra ID.
  • PowerShell scripting experience.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience supporting multiple business units, locations, or distributed environments is highly preferred.
  • Experience with Meraki and Cisco networking technologies is a plus.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity concepts and security best practices preferred.
