Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized therapy strategies tailored to meet the unique needs of clients through virtual sessions and assessments.
  • Conduct thorough evaluations to understand clients' mental health status, fostering a safe space for open dialogue.
  • Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy.
  • Collaborate with our multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and treatment plans for clients.
  • Maintain accurate and current clinical records, adhering strictly to ethical standards and confidentiality laws.
  • Engage in professional development by attending workshops and training to remain informed about advancements in mental health care and practices.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clientele consists of diverse individuals and families experiencing a variety of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. As a counselor in our center, you will work with vulnerable populations, ensuring they receive the affirmation, support, and treatment they deserve. Qualifications
  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
  • Active and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in New York.
  • A minimum of two years of clinical experience in counseling, demonstrating expertise in diverse therapeutic modalities.
  • Strong understanding of legal and ethical standards related to mental health practice.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients from various backgrounds.
  • Proficient in using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software and adept with telehealth technologies.
Preferred Experience
  • Specialization in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, trauma recovery, or substance misuse is highly preferred.
  • Experience working in community mental health settings, or with populations that face barriers to accessing traditional care.
Compensation and Benefits
