The Opportunity

This position works out of our Plano TX location in the Neuromodulation division. Our Neuromodulation business includes implantable devices compatible with mobile technology to help people who suffer from chronic pain and movement disorders. These non-opioid therapies allow us to provide interventional pain therapy to patients throughout the pain continuum.

We're seeking an experienced, high caliber Senior Financial Analyst to support our Neuromodulation Operations organization. This role is responsible for owning cost accounting, manufacturing finance, and financial reporting, and plays a critical part in ensuring accurate cost visibility and operational performance insight.

The role provides high visibility into manufacturing operations and direct exposure to cross-functional leadership, while leading key processes within month-end close, forecasting cycles, and management reporting. The individual will develop a deep understanding of manufacturing activity and cost drivers, and deliver clear, actionable insights to support operational and financial decision-making, with regular interaction with leadership through reporting and presentations.

What You'll Work On

  • Own cost accounting activities, including standard costing, inventory valuation, and cost of goods sold
  • Analyze and explain manufacturing variances (PPV, labor, overhead, yield, absorption) and operational drivers to drive cost transparency and improve operational performance
  • Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, and site leadership to monitor and improve cost performance
  • Support month-end close activities, including journal entries, accruals, and variance analysis
  • Forecasting and planning cycles (LBE) with a focus on cost and operational assumptions
  • Prepare consolidated reporting, dashboards, and presentations for leadership
  • Provide insights and analysis to support business and operational decisions
  • Build financial models to support cost improvements, productivity initiatives, and capital investments
  • Work with business partners to develop clear financial commentary tied to operational results
  • Ensure compliance with financial controls, inventory processes, and company policies
  • Maintain effective collaboration with cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment
  • Perform other related duties and responsibilities, as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field or demonstrated equivalent experience in cost accounting or manufacturing finance
  • 4+ years of experience in cost accounting and/or manufacturing finance (required)
  • Strong understanding of standard costing, inventory, and operational finance concepts
  • Experience with financial close, variance analysis, forecasting, and financial modeling
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint) and financial systems
  • Experience working in a matrixed and cross-functional environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels of the organization
  • Ability to analyze complex data and translate insights into actionable recommendations
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience partnering directly with manufacturing and plant operations teams
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) supporting cost accounting and inventory
  • Demonstrated ability to influence operational decisions through financial insight
