Your Impact

Clinical Evaluation & Assessment

  • Perform comprehensive neurological evaluations, including detailed histories and physical/neurologic exams
  • Assess symptoms related to headaches, seizure disorders, neuropathies, movement disorders, stroke, sleep-related concerns, and other neurological conditions

Diagnostic Support

  • Interpret and review diagnostic tests, including EEG, EMG/NCS, neuroimaging reports, and sleep studies (polysomnography and HSAT as needed)
  • Collaborate with neurologists to correlate clinical findings with diagnostic results for accurate treatment planning

Care Planning & Management

  • Partner with physicians to establish diagnoses and build individualized treatment plans
  • Manage medications, therapies, and interventional treatment recommendations
  • Educate patients on condition management, lifestyle modification, and preventive strategies

Longitudinal Care

  • Conduct follow-up visits to monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
  • Coordinate referrals to subspecialists or additional diagnostic services
  • Maintain thorough, accurate documentation in the EMR

Patient Advocacy & Support

  • Deliver compassionate, patient-focused care so patients and families feel informed and supported throughout their treatment journey
  • Address concerns, reinforce education, and encourage adherence to treatment plans
Who You Are
  • Licensed Physician Assistant in Virginia (or eligible for licensure)
  • Neurology or sleep medicine experience is a plus — not required; we invest in training the right candidate
