Job description

Role Overview:
We are seeking a Security Engineer specializing in Data Access & Identity to manage and optimize our Netwrix auditing platform. This role involves overseeing data access governance and identity auditing using Netwrix Auditor and Stealthbits (StealthAUDIT / Access Information Center) to ensure robust security and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Deploy, configure, and maintain Netwrix Auditor and Stealthbits tools.
  • Analyze data access patterns using Access Analyzer to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Track modifications across Active Directory, file servers, and cloud environments.
  • Investigate anomalous behavior, privilege escalations, and unauthorized data access.
  • Generate automated audit reports for compliance with regulations such as GDPR, HIPAA, or PCI-DSS.
  • Partner with IT teams to revoke excessive permissions and enforce the principle of least privilege.

Required Skills:
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience managing Netwrix Auditor and Stealthbits products.
  • Strong engineering knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory and Entra ID.
  • Deep understanding of NTFS permissions, share permissions, and NAS storage auditing.
  • Proficiency with Windows Server administration, IIS, and SQL Server backend management.
  • Ability to write PowerShell scripts for automating data collection or remediation tasks.
  • Experience with Cyber Security principles.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Entra Identity Management and Microsoft Identity And Access Management.
  • Knowledge of SQL Server Database Administration.

Qualifications:
  • 6-8 years of overall experience.
  • Minimum 2-3 years managing Netwrix Auditor and Stealthbits products.

Preferred Skills:
  • Certifications such as Netwrix Certified Professional, CISA, CISSP, or Microsoft Security certifications.
  • Background in financial services, healthcare, or other heavily regulated enterprise environments.
