Job Overview:

The Associate Analyst role within the Networking department will be responsible for providing problem-solving, reporting, project and training support to the Networking team. This will require the Associate Analyst to have a foundational level of knowledge of all things related to Direct Business and should be subject matter expert on things Networking. Support AVP on multiple and possibly overlapping projects. The ideal candidate will need to have an understanding of data analysis, and reporting tools and technology in general to effectively analyze business requirements, track project status, and translate business needs into technical requirements. The candidate will also need strong interpersonal, organization and communication skills (written and verbal) to be effective in the role.

Responsibilities:
  • Communicate complex issues both in writing and verbally to management and internal/external vendors and customers
  • Provide oversight of existing processes and mitigate risk against future firm impact
  • Documents quality issues, performance measures and quality improvements for management review
  • Support leadership on multiple and possibly overlapping projects
  • Ability to take on new challenges
  • Reengineer existing processes for improved experience and accuracy
  • Coordination with internal and external team members to implement or support ongoing processes
  • Process change management including updating and maintaining department controls and procedures
  • Ability to meet strict deadlines with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to analyze information and strong reporting skills
  • Involved with firm level mergers and acquisitions
  • Update and maintain department procedures
  • Communicate with other STO departments as well as external parties to resolve Networking related issues
  • Support and contribute toward the successful execution of projects and initiatives that support LPL's priorities. Participate in UAT and scripts writing.
  • Leverage technology to automate manual work and simplify processes where feasible to create a highly scalable, flexible, and efficient infrastructure.
  • Handle escalations received from both the Service Center and Internal teams.

Requirements:
  • 3+ years' experience in the brokerage and financial services industry
  • 2+ years of experience working with MS Access and MS Excel (Macro experience with excel)

Pay Range:

$20.85-$34.71/hour
Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
