Job Title:  Network/Systems Administrator  

Calendar Work Days:  12 month        

Supervisor: Enterprise Applications Manager

Status: Exempt - Non-Union

Salary: $110,000 - $115,000

POSITION SUMMARY 

The Network/Systems Administrator is responsible for analyzing, designing, installing, configuring, maintaining and repairing network servers; systems and subsystems. They oversee the computer/server operation and environment; providing direction, information, and recommendations regarding network configurations and installations. The analyst works closely with and supports the Network and System Administrator. The position requires the ability to be on 24 hour call and the availability to work evenings and weekends as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS - EXPERIENCE - KNOWLEDGE:

  • Degree in computer science, information technology or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.
  • CCNA or Comptia Network + certification or relevant experience.
  • Three or more years of Microsoft Active Directory or demonstrated experience.
  • Experience with Aruba access points and switches preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to communicate in English (speak/read/write)
  • Ability to set work priorities, multi-task and work independently, and use time management and organization strategies well.
  • Presents a professional image and interacts professionally with faculty, staff, students and community
