Looking for Veeam Backup Solution Expert(Level 3 ) - Remote Role

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Level 3 Veeam Backup Solution Expert to provide advanced engineering, administration, troubleshooting, and support for enterprise backup and disaster recovery environments. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Veeam Backup & Replication, enterprise storage, virtualization, cloud backup, and disaster recovery solutions. This role involves designing, optimizing, and supporting mission-critical backup infrastructure while serving as the highest level of technical escalation.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide Level 3 support for Veeam Backup & Replication environments.
  • Design, implement, upgrade, and maintain enterprise backup and recovery solutions.
  • Troubleshoot complex backup, restore, replication, and performance issues.
  • Configure and manage Veeam Backup & Replication, Backup Enterprise Manager, and Backup for Microsoft 365.
  • Perform disaster recovery planning, testing, and documentation.
  • Implement backup strategies for VMware, Hyper-V, physical servers, NAS, and cloud workloads.
  • Optimize backup performance, retention policies, repositories, and storage usage.
  • Integrate Veeam with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud.
  • Work with SAN/NAS storage, deduplication appliances, and immutable backup repositories.
  • Monitor backup health, capacity planning, and ensure SLA compliance.
  • Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive measures.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, security, and application teams.
  • Create technical documentation, SOPs, and knowledge base articles.
  • Mentor Level 1 and Level 2 support engineers.


Required Skills

  • 8+ years of IT Infrastructure experience.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Veeam Backup & Replication.
  • Strong knowledge of:
  • Veeam Backup & Replication
  • Veeam Enterprise Manager
  • Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365
  • Veeam Cloud Connect
  • SureBackup & SureReplica
  • Immutable Backup Repositories
  • Experience with VMware vSphere and Microsoft Hyper-V.
  • Knowledge of Windows Server and Linux administration.
  • Experience with storage technologies (SAN, NAS, Dell EMC, NetApp, HPE, Pure Storage).
  • Understanding of backup concepts including RPO, RTO, replication, snapshots, and disaster recovery.
  • Experience with Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud backup solutions.
  • Familiarity with PowerShell scripting and automation.
  • Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills.

  • Veeam Certified Engineer (VMCE)
  • VMware VCP certification
  • Microsoft Azure Administrator or AWS certification
  • ITIL Foundation certification
