Job Description

We are seeking a MAC Server Administrator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in MacOS server administration, patching, automation, and network configuration and a proven ability to maintain secure, compliant, and highly available MacOS server environments in a data center.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer and maintain MacOS servers to comply with security controls and organizational standards.
  • Plan and execute server patching schedules in a data center environment.
  • Automate software and security updates using MacOS scripting tools.
  • Collaborate with the MacSupport Team to implement data center server management plans.
  • Ensure servers remain compliant with required security software and OS versions.
  • Configure and troubleshoot DHCP and server IP settings, resolving network identification and IP conflicts.
  • Package and deploy managed OS applications and software installations.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Hands-on MacOS server administration and patch management in a data center.
  • Proficiency with MacOS scripting and automation for software and security updates.
  • Strong understanding of core server administration concepts.
  • Knowledge of DHCP, server IP configuration, and network conflict resolution.
  • Experience with managed OS environments and software packaging and installation.

Preferred Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or software engineering.
  • 5+ years of relevant server administration experience.
  • Proficiency in server configuration and scripting.
  • Knowledge of Workspace ONE, Tanium, Jamf, and related security profile tools.
  • Extensive MacOS server experience, including virtualization concepts.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.

Work Setup & Interview Process:

  • Hybrid schedule with a minimum of 3 days onsite per week.
  • Start window: September or October.
  • One or two interview rounds. Video required. In-person required.
  • Glider ID verification required.
  • Approved location: Charlotte, NC. Maximum three submissions per vendor.
