Job description

The Security Engineer/project manager is responsible for the end-to-end realization of security initiatives and projects within the Digital organization. This role combines project management, in-depth technical expertise and an advisory function to strengthen and safeguard the digital resilience of the organization within various Digital domains (Infrastructure, software development and OT).

Responsibilities Security project management and realization
  • Set up, coordinate and execute security projects from A to Z.
  • Draw project plans and action plans.
  • Coordinate stakeholders and resources.
  • Monitor timing, scope and budget.
  • Realise and deliver technical solutions.
  • Combine project management and hands‑on technical implementation.
  • Guarantee quality and security-by-design principles in projects.
Development and implementation of security processes
  • Analyse, define and implement security processes, procedures and controls.
  • Translate policies into practically applicable guidelines and workflows.
  • Continuously improve existing security processes based on incident analysis, risk assessments and lessons learned.
Technical security expertise
  • Deploy in‑depth knowledge within modern security platforms such as Microsoft Defender suite, Entra ID / Active Directory and IAM.
  • Evaluate, configure and optimise security tools and solutions.
  • Support troubleshooting and incident analysis on complex security issues.
Advisory role within Digital
  • Act as a trusted advisor for internal stakeholders within Digital’s services (Infrastructure, Software Development, OT environments).
  • Advise on technical security implementations, architecture choices, risk assessments and mitigation measures.
  • Contribute to security governance and the security organization.
Security frameworks and compliance
  • Apply and advise on common security frameworks and standards: CyberFundamentals, NIST, CIS Controls, ISO27001.
  • Support compliance processes and audits.
  • Knowledge of NIS2 is an important added value.
Incident analysis and continuous improvement
  • Use broad experience as a System Engineer to analyse and estimate incidents and events.
  • Identify and implement structural improvements.
  • Draw up concrete improvement proposals and follow‑up after approval.
  • Contribute to a proactive security posture management.
Security evangelism (technical)
  • Promote security policy and best practices within Digital.
  • Support other teams and projects as a security advisor.
Knowledge & Experience
  • Demonstrable experience in security project management and technical implementation.
  • Strong technical background within enterprise IT environments.
  • In‑depth knowledge of security concepts, architectures and solutions.
  • Experience with security frameworks and compliance standards.
  • Broad experience as a System Engineer is essential.
