Network Operations Engineer
The Opportunity:
Monitor network administration and maintenance operations. Manage the design evolution of existing operational networks and resolve network incidents to ensure the smooth running of the network operation. Apply advanced consulting skills or extensive technical expertise, along with full industry knowledge. Develop innovative solutions to complex problems. Work without considerable direction. Mentor and may supervise team members.
You Have:
  • Experience monitoring network performance and reliability
  • Experience troubleshooting network and security issues
  • Experience administering communication devices such as iPhones and mobile hotspots and securing devices using tools such as Cisco AnyConnect VPN, Purebred Client, and MobileIron Manager
  • Experience with installing, configuring, and maintaining routers, switches, and network hardware systems
  • Knowledge of techniques for optimizing secure communication environments
  • Knowledge of information assurance frameworks and federal compliance standards for secure telecommunications
  • Ability to manage teams and personnel to enhance operational readiness
  • Ability to collaborate with leadership and influence decision-making for organizational success
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree, or 10+ years of experience with secure network systems and infrastructure management

  • Experience managing the deployment and secure logistics of communication equipment internationally

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
